Fronius TransPocket 2500 MVm TIG
-
Robust - small and portable
-
Output up to 250 A
-
Additional TIG functions (e.g. TIG Comfort Stop)
-
Multivoltage can be adjusted manually
The TransPocket 2500 is a fully digitally controlled manual electrode power source with resonant intelligence. The ideal characteristic ensures the arc is always stable, even for example at mains voltages of up to 100 metres, or with fluctuating mains voltages (340 to 506 V) and during generator operation.
The TransPocket 2500 MVm TIG is guaranteed to weld all electrode types up to 5 mm – including the vertical-down welding of cellulose electrodes. It is extremely robust and yet small, light and portable. The power source also supports TIG functionalities (e.g. TIG Comfort Stop), and can be used for various mains voltages (3x380-460 V and 3x200-240 V).

Overview
- Anti-stick function
Prevents the electrode from sticking following a short circuit - Cellulose-compatible
Vertical-down compatible welding for cellulose electrodes - Generator-compatible
for mobile use, including construction sites - Hot start
Makes ignition of cellulose and rutile electrodes easier. - Multivoltage
guarantees worldwide usability, as it can be switched over to the various mains voltages - Single-phase operation (up to 140A)
A 230 V connection is sufficient for the power supply - Soft start
For a stable arc when using basic electrodes that take little welding current to ignite - Spatter-free ignition
for a jolt-free and spatter-free welding start, with less time spent on rework - TIG Comfort stop
Prevents the arc from breaking at the end of welding. By moving the welding torch in a particular way, the welding current falls automatically, gas shielding is ensured, and the crater is filled perfectly. - TIG pulse
For perfect joining of light-gauge sheets during TIG welding
Technology
· Resonant Intelligence
Just imagine your're driving down a wide, more-or-less straight highway. Every so often, there is a gentle bend in the road, or a slight gradient up or down. And then imagine doing this with cruise-control. You've set the ideal speed, and the system automatically increases or decreases the engine power to keep the car moving along at exactly this speed - makung your journey much more pleasant and smooth.
